![]() Newsletter of the Asian Women's Resource Centre for Culture and Theology
womenet means women's network and solidarity. The "net" symbolises fishing, so common for Asian villages by the sea. It reminds us of rural and grassroots people, especially women, who mainstream society tends to overlook, neglect, ignore and even abuse. The "net" is also part of the image of "fishing" people which Jesus the Christ commissioned his disciples and followers to do. AWRC publishes womenet twice a year. The printed version of womenet is distributed free to all members and supporters of AWRC.
You may freely use any or all of the information found in womenet for your own journals and newsletters. We only ask that you please inform the AWRC if you plan to reproduce the materials extensively.
